OUR STORY

II Palms Vodka is formulated and produced through Twisted Spiritz, LLC. Each ingredient from our American Mid-West Corn to the Non-GMO coconut water sourced from organic young coconuts from India are focused on an ecosystem-based model with farmers and communities. Beyond just introducing great products, we are a company with a mission. As we grow, we will be partnering with urban farming missions to fund the development of urban farms and community gardens to bring nutrition, education and commerce to areas that need it the most. As we develop these urban farms/ gardens, we will be partnering with these communities to help grow the ingredients we will use to make our spirits. Our greatest story will be told through the communities we impact.

THE BRAND

Our brand is, at its core, about connecting with people in the moments we celebrate, the moments that matter.  Our brand is about complimenting how we conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment and be present in each breath.  II Palms is all about letting go of the stress, at least for a moment, and truly being awake to the world around us and the people in it.  Calm, content, relaxed and free.  That moment on vacation, you wake up, the day is yours to enjoy, you take that deep calming breath and acknowledging your “now.”

“One can appreciate & celebrate each moment — there’s nothing more sacred. There’s nothing more vast or absolute. In fact, there’s nothing more!”

CONCEPTION

II Palms vodka is made in the USA, distilled in Florida, and owned by former oil & gas professionals in Oklahoma with a history of distillation and generational history in the spirits business. Founder, President and CEO, Julian Joy had considered getting involved in the spirits service industry as a young man and that thought never left him. The seed of this interest took root and has now has become the reality which is II Palms. Shortly after hurricane Harvey, Julian assisted a group of men in assembling supply aid trucks to be delivered to Florida. One of these friends owned a business in Florida. Julian offered to help get things organized while also helping the community. During the five weeks of serving others, he reflected on his summers and visits to Florida as a kid.  His entire mothers’ side of the family now resides in Florida and the patriarch, his grandfather, was in poor health.  Julian’s grandfather operated speakeasies from Myrtle Beach to Miami and managed one of the most popular speakeasy establishments in the 60’s in Orlando, The Downtowner Motor Inn. His grandfather passed away before our first bottle was produced, but he was excited to discuss the idea as it unfolded. We’re sure his grandfather would have been proud.
