BAKED BOSC MULE

INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS

2 Bosc pears
3 oz II Palms Vodka
Ginger Beer
Allspice
1/2 - 1 tsp vanilla extract – to taste
1 tbsp coconut nectar
Lime zest (garnish)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 *
  2. Cut pears in half and lay, skin down, in a shallow baking dish (set aside 1 thin wedged slice for garnish)
  3. Season pears with Allspice and Bake for 30 min
  4. Juice pears (strain with cheese cloth if needed)
  5. Fill copper mug with crushed ice to chill
  6. Combine all ingredients (excluding ginger beer) into shaker with ice
  7. Shake and strain into chilled mug over crushed ice
  8. Caramelize pear slice with torch and garnish mug rim
  9. Top off with ginger beer and lime zest

* Skip steps 1-4 and use 4 oz unfiltered pear juice with 1/2 tsp Allspice.
